New
York City Phonathon Sets New Record
Seventy-four Exonians, parents and friends assembled
over two evenings at the Williams Club in New York
City for the annual fall phonathon. This year,
callers raised more than $105,000, a new record.
A week earlier, 27 callers gathered at the Gutman
Conference Center at the Harvard Graduate School
of Education in Cambridge, MA, raised $37,560 from
162 donors.
Exeter phonathons take place in various locations
across the country throughout the year. They generally
take place between 5:30 and 9:00 p.m., with an optional
training session at 5:00 first-time callers or past
callers who would like additional training. Participants
may come for all or part of the evening. A light
buffet is served, and volunteers receive a special
Exeter gift. If you are interested in participating
in an Exeter phonathon, you may register
online through the events calendar, or contact
Jan Gosselin in the annual giving office at (800)
828-4325 ext.3473; email: jgosselin@exeter.edu.
