New York City Celebrates the Exeter Initiatives

On January 12, 2005, more than 600 alumni/ae, parents and their guests from the greater New York City area gathered at Cipriani 42nd Street to celebrate the regional launch of The Exeter Initiatives. Principal Tyler C.Tingley and Academy trustees hosted the event, which featured the regional premiere of a short film about Exeter and drew Exonians of all ages. Principal Tingley outlined the vision behind The Exeter Initiatives and its ambitious $305 million goal, and he reported the exciting news that $186 million had been raised to date--including an anonymous gift of $25 million made public that evening at Cipriani.

All in all, the event received rave reviews. Similar events are scheduled around the country through June.
