member on continuing appointment who is accomplished
in his or her discipline. Appointment is

Academy Teaching Chair -
Establishes a public position of honor, appointed
by the principal, to a mid-career faculty
member for the remainder of his or her PEA
career. Appointment includes annual stipend. |

Chair - Establishes the highest
public position of distinction, appointed
by the principal, for a tenured senior
member of the faculty who has contributed
in a significant way to teaching and learning
at the Academy. Appointment is made for
the length of one's tenure as a member
of the faculty and includes an annual stipend.
Named department chairs are given to the
current heads of academic departments for
the duration of their term, and also include
annual stipends. |
