Retired Chairman/CEO, Moody's Corporation

Mr. Rutherfurd served as chairman/CEO of Moody's
Corporation from 2003 - 2005 and as president/CEO
since 2000. He retired in April 2005.
Mr. Rutherfurd
was president of Interactive Data Corporation,
which he co-founded in 1968. He served
as an associate in the NYC law firm of Shearman
and Sterling and in the New York State National
Guard and the Navy Reserve. Mr. Rutherfurd currently
serves on the board of governors of NASD, Inc.
Mr. Rutherford was a four-year student here at
PEA. He won a prestigious General Motors Merit
scholarship his senior year. He was editor
of Pendulum; president of the junior debating society;
president
of Soule dorm; and a member of the PEA senate,
the varsity tennis team, club squash, drama,
Herodotan society, Kirtland society and Inquirers.
