Arts
Mr. Ribalow has written twenty produced plays,
a book of poetry, screenplays, ten children's
books, and numerous articles. He is, as well, co-author
(with his late father, Harold U. Ribalow) of
The
Jew in American Sports, Jewish Baseball Stars, and Great
Jewish Chess Champions.
Mr. Ribalow is
also director of content for a new website,
"Jews in Sports Online," at NYU's Center for Advanced
Technology. In addition, Mr. Ribalow, who was
for years Joseph Papp's production associate
at
the
New York Shakespeare Festival, is an artist-in-residence
at Fordham University in the department of
communication and media studies, where he teaches
film courses.
Mr. Ribalow is the film columnist for The
Sciences magazine,
artistic director of The Playwrights Project,
vice president of The Creative Coalition, and
arts coordinator
for The Global Forum. He has received the
Rinehart Grant, a B.M.I. Award and numerous awards
for plays in New York, London,
and Chicago as well as playwriting commissions
and writing fellowships.
