After several years of research on gourmet food stores throughout the country
and searching out the perfect location, Tom decided to open Tom's
Gourmet Marketplace to provide a truly one-of-a-kind shopping experience
that catered to many of the needs of people today, but also would be one where
people could have fun and 'escape' their hectic lives during their visit. Being
also tired of the state of customer service in many large retailers, Tom chose
to turn back the clock and create an experience that recreated the sights,
sounds, smells, and most importantly the service the way it used to be.
